Why Play Chess?

It makes me tense and nervous still. So why do I play this game? That's a very good question. Writing blogs or a journal doesn't make me nervous or uncomfortable but yes I'm not the only one who feels the pressure to succeed there has to be a loser and a winner maybe a draw every now and then. So now I've become accustom to the elite and who they are as a result of a little chess play. Countries of advance super power status ordinarily play this game as it the game of chess has locked arms and step with advanced technology with the countries of higher economic position with Russia currently in the lead still despite the fact Bobby Fischer wiped out their number one man Boris back in the 70's. Russia can still destroy any country that dares invade its territory with its weapons make no doubt. Economically it has stepped down but militarily it has the might to defend itself. So what's my point? I haven't any. Just read my blog for what it is; something to sit back at and view with an entertaining sort of way. If chess demands an element of thought and thinking then let me think in terms of words even though now computers can compose words ever so wisely as well. Machines can and will and already winning out but don't forget who the creator is. Good God am I lecturing? I'm never suppose to do that. It never takes a genius.
