Insomnia
For this session of two games of chess at the ungodly hours produced no wins and two loses. It's just points not money. So I will not make a dime playing chess look at all the money I made sorting mail! I made a living off it and then some what with this pension. For some people it isn't nearly enough for others I'd say it is more than enough. The money lost is another story and no we didn't do it by gambling at casinos. I call it let me say a problem and don't I get problem solving calculations presented to me much of my chess playing times and so let the problem solving thought processes begin. Gee I don't think I'm thinking clearly at this time having been awake the last several hours I'm not thinking clearly. Blame it on insomnia? Woody Allen come help me I'm lost and so alone. I've no alcohol here. No I'm not confused I just lost a few games of chess that is all nothing major like a storm blowing through here no hurricanes or tornadoes thank you....knock on wood.

The Beating Heart Does Pound
Well it almost did pound. I could feel my heart pounding. For me chess is drama and yes it has stress. This last game was for ratings to gain points to win or to lose points if there was a lost. One slip of my finger could set the game into a tailspin for a lost. I'd say I could not make a mistake or the game would not go my way. These on line players are that way. It is a whole new world in the world of chess. I do not feel I am in a chess slump now. Check my chess profile.

It Went Down To Wire Stress Was Not A Liar
Seconds were left on our clocks who ever ran out of time first would lose he blundered yet my time was fast approaching no time left he would win even if I were slightly ahead but I made use of my time moving as quickly yet as cautiously as possible. This was no exhibition game as I call it this was for points which put the stress level even more upon me this one counted for ratings oh my God this one was for the r word ratings! His ratings were 1168 about the same as mine minus three points and we were going toe to toe but he quit right there and then with seconds left it was the race to see who could move quicker maybe that is why he blundered and made some wrong moves in the end. The stress level was too much my heart was pounding I think.

Too Emotional
After the first game of chess I had to quit. Chess must be played with nerves of steel not like I play the game. Do as I say not as I do. I won the last game so fast with a player rated close to my rating that I was stunned too emotional to play a follow up game. He calculated the situation wrong and my moves were unlike any other moves I've made call it innovating moves most of these so called moves don't work for me by the way. But things were just clicking for me the zone must have been in the calling for me this rare time. Even my spell checker says I've made no spelling errors!
The Lowest Rated Player Can Make Me All Nerves
Such low rated players lower than me can upset me and make me nervous. Chess demand a great deal of concentration and unless a great champion can play in their sleep a lack of concentration can be an upset for the better player. Show me a player than can move in their sleep I know some players can play blind folded. That's incredible. I'm about to crash(do no concentration but rest and sleep if possible).

Pitter Patter So Goes My Heart
It is just a game not even for money or points yet the excitement was enough to make my heart beat faster I could feel it. If I were playing a machine there would have been a different feeling.

Nerves
Opponent was a much higher rated player but I take on all comers in exhibition matches. The caffeine kept me awake for certain but it did no good for my nerves yes indeed there was so we say excitement and yes I erred but my opponent was playing up to par I say for a 1485 or so player I cussed moments later after making an error it happened in a blink of an eye. He decided he didn't want a hostile game I was no gentleman I'm sorry. The game can heat up as does the kind of games do you think broadcasting football players on the field is done during the heat of battle? The cuss words cannot be broad casted. In real war it is not a game. No wonder soldiers go insane.
Caffeine Does It Matter?
I got wiped out by a lesser rated player this morning I was in the mood but I did not have my caffeine fix. They say ladies of the evening are often associated with illicit drugs. I wouldn't know about that. All I know is that I've used legal drugs namely caffeine to get myself by to keep awake and keep my job falling asleep was forbidden to do more or less. I took one caffeine pill what little it may do who knows it might make a slight difference in this chess game to follow. Are not the Chinese of China developing nutrition to improve their performance that is legal, new and innovative if not now it looks like they are headed that way. I'm only a spectator I know nothing about pharmacy but I do follow the news like the rest of us. Is China in the process of a dynasty the likes of which we have never seen before?

The Greatest Gift Of All
Is when my opponent blunders it happens but with the machine playing chess they don't. It was a fine gift his queen he blundered put his queen in harms way blew the game right there for him I rushed at it not waiting or stalling least he call for a take back. Opponent was playing hard ball all the way didn't make an error until I saw it but not instantly. Some of these games can get pretty exciting. I miss the tennis matches I was in with more than just one opponent watching the more spectators watching the more I was at comfort with the game. I find it good for the soul to record some of these games maybe there will be followers to view my stories of these chess games certainly every now and then I like mentioning it on the air. Marty Nemko told me so saying writing journals/blogs is good for the soul.

Beating The Odds
After losing so many more games to the Titan Computer playing chess machine I finally won my third game over all at level seven although I had to make several take backs. We the humans by the humans and for the humans created the formidable chess playing monster that can crush the best human champion chess player number one rank in the world. By the way computers don't work against us they work for us they were and are the creations of humans their evolution is fascinating.

Long Time No Report
Casual chess is the name of my game. The drama however doesn't go away at whatever level. My last two games were not winners. Is it all about chess or about other subjects as well? It's been put on the back burner this game of chess. It is all about feelings however but sticking to chess is a safer subject to cover the wisdom of my ninety eight year old mother has merit in which see said don't write anything about anybody. Wisdom is hers in the horizon. The stamp of approval however is about chess. My problem was I was too late in castling that was what cost me the game simple as that. And I never did something happened I must have moved my king in an off position. Anyhow welcome to my blog that no one reads. Give me no pity my soul is here and bearing it isn't going to get me in trouble.
