Technology Has Turned To The Drone
My romance and the little boy in me will never die when it comes to the view of my own kite launched into the sky. But of course what is a full grown man doing flying a kite? In society today in a highly developed industrial nation kites are for kids and then again very few children are seen like in the old days of kids playing baseball outside but it is the video games and electronics with which encompasses their time. Is it not? But I love the little boy in me and to see such a simplistic marvel of a human putting his or her self image into the sky feeling such an object being moved or blown about into the air with a breathtaking view of the background. Okay this is my personal appeal to such a hobby but kite flying has suited my fancy but most especially with the aid of a kite launcher.
Often I vow to give up this hobby for I am the only one who flies a kite in the city where primarily Asians live. Now don't peg me as a racist I never said Asians were better than anyone else. I just live in a community where Asians are more the norm rather than pesky undesirables targeted for what was practiced in the old days of legal discrimination. Racisms will never go away but if it ever does I will be the first one to toss my hat into the fire. All the hobbies coming and going have their special place in my soul reserved for a time to review and engage at again if need be. I bought my first new tennis racket for the first time in thirty years. When my medicine isn't kicking in I'm wheel chair bound as some of you are already aware of. I'm using an electric scooter a high tech tool already around for decades and the wheel chair will become obsolete just as the typewriter has gone out of production and use. Tossing the hat into the fire is just an expression I heard it somewhere hope I didn't use it in the wrong way.
I'm not certain where I am going with the topic of drones but do know they get expensive much more than kite flying and chess cost nothing to play that game. And my best game is tennis or shall I say was as far as being a player. It is still a game for the rich as Andre Agassi told me over the air once upon a time on the radio KGO 810 and the top competitors in rank will continue to be white because it takes money to join the clubs I suppose and learn the ways of the rich which is tennis. Andre Agassi told me on the Ronn Owens show yet Serena Williams and Venus dominated for a time. This time I am going to read into the tennis tips and dream on of how to possess the big powerful serve a big flaw in my game when I competed but the return of serve was my strengh keeping me in the game and the ball in play otherwise I would have been blown off the courts. The modern tennis players I have not been following my memory serves me better when Jimmy Conners ruled. That is ancient history. And the Forty Niners are going terrible now. Where is that dynasty they were suppose to recapture? I know what it is. I wasn't flying my kite lately which accounts for their failure. And China suffered a stock market crash did they not? This is making my nerves galore. If I keep writing a blog entitled Journalism Reports they will come for me and cart me away. Let me merely confess I have my nerve and what with Parkinson's I am shaking! My attention will be turned to the drone. So what is this mysterious craft that flies and hovers as it were a UFO?
