I Don't Want To Know

His mother when she was alive over a decade ago told me her son had passed on and gave me a detailed description of the why and reason he passed on. Now a criminology major tells me this person could still be alive just maybe. I don't want to know the real truth should he be deceased. I would rather think that he is still alive even though it may not be the truth. I was told he is not listed in the death index so he may still be alive at a particular location in Oakland. I don't want to hear the bad news if he is indeed perished. Just let me believe he is still alive. My father in the white pages is listed as being alive and at 97 years old! What a scream. You would think they would want to make a movie out of my story and call it " Stand By Me".
